Old Friends

This is just in case any old friends stop by to see if I'm still alive, particularly Diane, Jen and Laurie.

I still think about you all and love and miss you.  Hoping you are well and happy.

your friend for life,

Lori

Top 20 favorite songs

Around New Year's the one and only decent rock radio station in NYC - WRXP was having a thing where people would send in their top 20 favorite songs of all time. I made up a list but never sent it in. Try picking your 20 favorite songs - ha! Its near impossible. But here is the list I put together. The songs that when you catch them on the radio or on a cd, you crank up the volume and go Oh MY GOD I LOVE THIS SONG! Except for the number 1 song, in no particular order.

numero uno - Sleepwalking Past Hope comes a close second, but this song is the one

1. HIM - For You
Camouflage - That Smiling Face
U2 - Gloria
Cream - Badge
Beatles - Strawberry Fields Forever
Elton John - Mona Lisas & Mad Hatters
Neil Young - Cinnamon Girl
Yes - I've Seen All Good People
David Bowie - Oh! You Pretty Things (I may just change this to Panic in Detroit)
Incubus - Drive
The Mission - Serpent's Kiss
Depeche Mode - Never Let Me Down Again
Wonder Stuff - Cartoon Boyfriend
Mazzy Star - Fade Into You (of course Ville's cover is wonderful)
Placebo - Pure Morning (that heavy guitar after the first verse still speaks to my soul)
Creed - Faceless Man
IAMX - Nightlife
Siouxie & The Banshees - Dear Prudence
The Smiths - How Soon is Now (or This Charming Man, depending on my mood)
Oasis - Wonderwall

Funny, Mazzy Star, Siouxie & The Banshees and Camoflauge aren't favorite artists, but the rest are.

Anyone want to post theirs?
